Can I wirelessly send downloaded music to my living room stereo reciever?
Is there a device that I could connect to one of my stereo inputs that would pick up a signal sent to it? Is this far fetched? I’m tired of listening to my music on my computer and would like it directly to my receiver. And no I don’t have an iPod.
There are several ways. One would be to use a RF transmitter and receiver. However, that method is rather old-school. The best way to do it now is by way of a digital receiver. There are many on the market. Roku is a maker of a few. Theirs have built-in wi-fi. Various media servers (such as WMP11) are available that can serve all formats of media (MP3, MPEG, WMA, WMV, etc).
